Bharat Picks CCTVCP Plus installation & AMC

A CCTV maintenance checklist you can actually follow.

Most CCTV failures are found the day you need a recording and it is not there. A short check every few months prevents that.

The checklist

  • Every camera shows a picture on the recorder screen
  • Lenses are clean; dust and spider webs are the usual culprits
  • Night pictures are clear, not white-washed or dark
  • Cables and connectors are tight and not chewed or loose
  • The recorder date and time are correct
  • The hard disk shows as healthy and is recording
  • Playback works: pick a time from last week and watch it
  • Phone viewing still connects

If you would rather not do it yourself

Our AMC plans cover these checks on a schedule, plus priority visits when something breaks. They are quoted per site after we see your system.

Questions people ask.

Ask us anything
01.How often should CCTV be checked?

A quick check monthly and a proper service every three to six months suits most shops and homes. Busy or dusty sites need more.

02.How long does a hard disk last?

Surveillance disks are made to record continuously, but none last forever. Checking disk health on each service catches failures early.
